Our Sulla fields thrive in mineral-rich soils and gentle sea breezes. During peak bloom, bees feast on scarlet flowers rich in nectar, creating a honey that is naturally pale, fragrant and exquisitely balanced. Every jar preserves the landscape: light, clean, distinctly Sicilian.

Expect a delicate floral nose with subtle herbal hints. On the palate, Sulla honey is soft and round, never cloying, with a fresh, grassy finish that invites the next spoonful. It’s the honey you reach for when you want sweetness that enhances rather than dominates.

Harvest, cold extraction & purity

We follow a restrained, traditional approach: cold extraction, gentle filtering, no pasteurization, no additives. This preserves the honey’s living enzymes and its naturally bright character. Each 250g jar is a small batch expression of time, place and craft.

Natural crystallization & storage

Real honey crystallizes naturally. Sulla often forms a fine, creamy texture over time — a mark of authenticity. Prefer it runny? Place the closed jar in a warm water bath (max ~40 °C) until fluid again. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct light.
