The Tangor Ortanique is a hybrid between an orange and a mandarin: its name is derived from 'or' for orange, 'tan' for tangerine and 'un' for unique.

Late Ciaculli Mandarin
Available from February to April
It is discovered in the 40s and is a spontaneous mutation of the Havana Mandarin: a new variety that ripens later, from February to April.
It is characterized by a thin skin of intense orange color, slightly adherent to the segments and which is easily detached from the pulp. The fruit has a round shape flattened at the poles and is very rich in juice.
