This year we chose a different Black Friday.
Mammarancia will make a donation to the Scout Group of Francofonte: the amount will correspond to 10% of all sales from the citrus catalog for purchases made from 6:00 PM on 26 November to midnight on 30 November.
Not a slogan.
Not a generic “charity operation.”
A real, traceable, verifiable action.
The funds collected will be allocated exclusively to the renovation of a room that will become a space for the new scout division called the “Castorini” (children aged 5 to 8), a place where they can meet, grow, discover the territory and experience it with love.
The donation will be sent via direct bank transfer to the scout group’s account.
Every euro allocated to the initiative will be used and fully accounted for to purchase building materials and everything needed to make that space finally ready to live in.
In a period in which Black Friday is synonymous with “buy everything, buy now,” we have chosen a different path: giving value to money, not to its discount.
This year marks the first year of the “Castorini,” and we want to help directly those who share with us fundamental values such as respect and the bond with the territory — especially when it comes to children.
Black Friday today: when discounts become a race
In recent years, Black Friday has become something that goes beyond offers.
It has become a race, a pressure, a continuous invitation to buy faster, bigger, more than necessary.
It’s the logic of “if you don’t buy now, you lose.”
A logic that fuels a form of fast, impulsive consumption, sometimes completely disconnected from the true value of products and the work behind them.
We don’t feel this race belongs to us.
We are producers.
We live following the rhythm of the earth, not that of countdowns.
And it is precisely for this reason that we have decided to transform Black Friday, not endure it.
The donation: how it works and where it goes
From 26 to 30 November, 10% of every order from the citrus catalog will fund:
- the renovation of the walls
- the restoration of the floors
- the purchase of safety materials
- shelving, essential furnishings and educational material
Everything needed to transform an empty room into a place where young people can feel at home, safe, and ready to experience moments of growth.
It is not a generic charity campaign.
It is a specific, measurable, local project that will have a real impact.
And every customer will be able to follow the evolution of the room step by step.
A solidarity-based Black Friday: our choice from 26 to 30 November
The Francofonte scouts are not a distant association.
They are young people from our territory.
Families who live close to our citrus groves.
Educators who work to build a sense of community.
Supporting them means supporting the roots, just like those of our trees.
It means investing in values that matter:
respect, friendship, nature, belonging.
For us, this is the only offer that truly makes sense:
giving, not discounting.
Where the donations will go and why it truly matters
We chose a concrete project because we wanted each person to be able to say:
“My order did something real.”
Every euro destined for the scouts will be used to make that space a place that is:
- safe
- welcoming
- educational
- ready to host activities, meetings, games, memories
A place that will remain over the years.

We are not asking you to buy more.
We don’t want to push you to consume.
We simply say this:

Thanks to all of you, Mammarancia’s sustainable Black Friday closed with a total donation of €751.22.
This is not a symbolic amount.
It is the concrete result of every conscious order, of every choice to give value instead of chasing discounts.
Every euro raised has been allocated to the renovation of the space that will host the Castorini, the new Scout section for children aged 5 to 8.
A real first step, born from many small gestures coming together.
6 February 2026 – Work is about to begin
At the end of February, renovation work will officially begin, made possible also thanks to your contribution.
Walls, floors, safety, furnishings: what was once just an empty room is about to become a living space, designed to welcome, protect and help children grow.
This is the deepest meaning of what we have done together:
giving value back to the territory and to people, turning an everyday purchase into something that lasts.
