🛒 Ingredients for a 22-cm mold.
– 2 Organic Navel blond oranges
– 200 g flour 00
– 150 g sugar
– 3 eggs
– 100 g melted butter (or 80 ml seed oil)
– 1 packet baking powder
– Icing sugar to taste. (for decoration)
👩🍳 Step by step preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Wash the oranges well. Grate the zest and squeeze the juice.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs with sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add zest, juice, and melted butter. Mix well.
- Incorporate sifted flour with baking powder, stirring gently.
- Pour the dough into a buttered and floured cake pan.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes. Do a toothpick test to make sure they are cooked.
- Let cool and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
